A 'bomb' dessert craze- Shepherd's Artisan Bakery Brioche Bombs

With the cooler months here, I suddenly find myself craving something warm and sweet to savour after a meal. Always up for trying something new I discovered these new delights from Shepherd's Artisian Bakery called a Brioche Bomb, a freshly baked brioche dough baked and filled with a variety of creative centres.

On this food adventure, I had the pleasure of trying the very indulgent Nutella and salted pretzel, the baked vanilla bean custard and ginger-spiced apple with brandy cream.

Surprisingly the bombs are not heavy or rich, but fluffy and buttery in their dough. The different fillings feature a good spectrum of flavours with the vanilla bean custard balanced with just the rich subtly of sweetness, while the ginger-spiced apple is fruity and light, and for the ultimate sweet tooth, the Nutella and salted pretzel is a must buy.

So where can you find these artisan baked goods? Shepherd's Artisan Bakery have three stores at: Narellan Town Centre, Westfield Eastgardens and Castle Towers Shopping Centre. They also sell at farmers markets across Sydney ( more information here).

Shepherd's Artisan Bakery has an ethos of creating baked goods that are crafted straight from the farm, to the oven and finally to the plate. The bakery uses natural and fresh ingredients sourced from farmers and show a true dedication to creating a high-quality range, showcasing the art of artisan style baking.

Next time you're on morning tea or dessert duty, mix it up with these brioche bombs that are sure to be a hit!
